著者简介：

西蒙•克里切利（Simon Critchley）纽约社会研究新学院哲学教授，洛杉矶盖蒂研究院访问学者。他继承欧陆哲学的研究传统，研究方向涵盖哲学史、政治理论、宗教学、美学等领域，著有《不过如此》（Things Merely Are）与《无尽的索求》（In finitely Demanding）等。

译者简介：

王志超历史学博士，研究方向为古希腊罗马史。目前任教于山西师范大学历史系。著有《德摩斯梯尼与雅典对外政策》。

黄超文学硕士，目前任教于天津外国语大学欧洲语言文化学院。

这本书一直放在卫生间里，每次都看一个小段。因为作者善意的控制了每个故事的长度，所以大大降低了我痔疮的危险。这本书与其说是讲哲学家的死，不如说是世界各国哲学家的小介绍。不过说起来挺让人失望的，我当时买的时候是想知道很具体的关于罗兰巴特是怎么死的。但这本书就用了很小一段说他是参加完一个政治家的晚宴之后回家的路上被车撞死的。一点文笔的修饰，情感的煽动都没有，写的太过冷淡，让我想起了维基百科。

这本书是今年7月份在贵州都匀市的西西弗书店买的。当时只是想作为茶余饭后的读物看看，看了之后发现哲学家的死亡方式真的是乱七八糟。转念一想，哲学家也是个人。人的死亡方式不也是乱七八糟的吗，所以哲学家死亡录跟普通人死亡录的区别在哪里？好像没有。那我去读这本书干嘛？...
