新书推荐Machine Platform Crowd。作者还写过畅销书The Second Machine Age，也相当精彩。二十世纪初电是颠覆性技术元素，二十世纪下半页电脑和互联网是颠覆性技术元素。这个世纪呢？作者说是智能机器，平台企业和众包模式的世纪。这本书对这十几年来的新技术趋势和新商业模式总结得很好，还有一些基于趋势的对未来的科幻式设想，但总体来说并没有特别原创的思想。四星吧。

对近几年的新技术平台做了总结，事件和论述相辅相成。对需要了解人机平台的人来讲，这是一本很好的intro。想更深入的话，请看research paper吧。

书分三大部分：从人类智慧到机器智慧、从产品到平台、从中心到分散。作者认为，人工智能破解了波兰尼悖论（we know better than we can tell）。因为信息产品的免费、完备和即时，平台经济得以崛起。第315页注释Bengt Holmstrom应是HolmstrÖm。对平台之恶（如垄断）完全没有探讨。平台经济早点过时吧。
