長知識的科普散文，用人類主流飲品的更迭梳理瞭我們熟知的曆史，也提供瞭一種新鮮的視角：纔知道像波士頓傾茶事件還跟當年朗姆製造商對英帝國徵稅不滿有關；纔知道百事可樂攻占瞭共産主義市場，卻在蘇聯解體後因品牌形象“過於本土”輸給瞭可口可樂；纔知道英國人全民飲茶普及瞭不到一百年，而且愛喝紅茶最初是因為它比綠茶容易保存。。。語言平實，但邏輯清楚，非常輕鬆，適閤在地鐵和馬桶上閱讀。
