简读,放到了自己的文献综述中。首先要致敬一个外国学者研究中国教育的好奇心与热情,对邹平这个地方教育人情的观察也很独特,个人以为他的观点其实还是教育文化学取向的,将家长对教育的重视理解为一种现代化的文化模式,即家长相信好的教育可以帮助子女获得优质中产阶层生活甚至是国外一流美好生活这种设想本质上是现代化的一种文化模型,在后发现代性国家,国家、市场、学校话语共同发挥作用塑造了这一文化,而在中国,传统儒家尊师重教的话语进一步加强了这种文化,至少这本书不再是国内很多研究将家长视为罪魁祸首相关研究的重复,多重话语、力量的规训倒是值得借鉴。还在等待其他对中国重教的解释
