评分作者从个人的视角, 引用科学文献,以反驳我们长期以来的公理“Calories in = calories out”, 指出胰岛素是引起肥胖和心脏病的杀手,进一步认为低碳水和高脂肪饮食是维持健康的饮食。但是作者所引用的科学文献多数是60、70年代之前的,最近的一篇是2007年。而且,有些内容相当于科普性质。 鉴于近年多数研究仍没有否定“Calories in = Calories out”, 所以他的推荐值得谨慎考虑。
评分十分意外但有说服力的结论。肥胖的主因是碳水化合物而非贪食脂肪与缺少运动。附件部分为要义所在。
