讀的時候就一直在想啊Aristotle怎麼那麼dry想的東西怎麼都那麼down to earth真是一點樂趣也沒有。然後就看到在中間悉心夾雜瞭一句詩意的話，整個人都被戳中好嘛。喜歡Intellectual Virtue和最後的兩章~

更新：翻譯和注釋真的比不上Irwin。亞裏士多德部分結束一周半以後，我終於看完瞭這本書…下迴讀第一遍的時候再也不能做詳盡的筆記瞭，現在纔寫瞭前六捲，已經28頁word瞭，有如抄書，然而我連大概的思路也沒法復述。第一遍最重要的可能還是把書讀薄。文本後麵附的Lesley的explanatory notes不如說是commentary：一半的內容是用日常英語重寫關鍵論證，一半的內容是對亞裏士多德反直觀的觀點進行批評或辯護。前一半對於初學者讀不懂時有幫助，但也有點過於囉嗦和纍贅。後一半的批評和辯護總感覺不得要領，批評通常都是從日常經驗齣發，這一點做得太過瞭，辯護也常常沒法迴到亞裏士多德自己的形而上學框架中，顯得自說自話，隻有零碎的一個個論證，而沒有整體性。好吧，我承認是我自己這樣讀下來沒讀懂。
