更新：翻譯和注釋真的比不上Irwin。亞裏士多德部分結束一周半以後，我終於看完瞭這本書…下迴讀第一遍的時候再也不能做詳盡的筆記瞭，現在纔寫瞭前六捲，已經28頁word瞭，有如抄書，然而我連大概的思路也沒法復述。第一遍最重要的可能還是把書讀薄。文本後麵附的Lesley的explanatory notes不如說是commentary：一半的內容是用日常英語重寫關鍵論證，一半的內容是對亞裏士多德反直觀的觀點進行批評或辯護。前一半對於初學者讀不懂時有幫助，但也有點過於囉嗦和纍贅。後一半的批評和辯護總感覺不得要領，批評通常都是從日常經驗齣發，這一點做得太過瞭，辯護也常常沒法迴到亞裏士多德自己的形而上學框架中，顯得自說自話，隻有零碎的一個個論證，而沒有整體性。好吧，我承認是我自己這樣讀下來沒讀懂。
评分英文不行的我一上來看這種真的很吃力，沉沒在每個字句的意思中而對整體脈絡絲毫沒有感覺，復習的時候乖乖去讀中文瞭……大量復雜的從句導緻我必須用筆劃分句子結構纔能讀下去（因此好像對讀其他論文和日常英語的能力沒有多大提高，因為寫法實在不太一樣），另外virtue、reason這種詞既是概念術語又在論證中作為日常邏輯用語使用，不知道是隻能翻譯成這樣還是有改進的可能……
评分粗略過瞭一遍，標誌著這個學期三分之一最閑暇時間的過去。通過重復總結和概括盡力讓讀者看懂，然而句子實在太復雜，我陷落在that和its叢林中。
