Walter Mischel holds the Robert Johnston Niven chair as professor of humane letters in psychology at Columbia University. He is the author of more than two hundred scientific papers as well as the coauthor of Introduction to Personality, now in its eighth edition. 评分前面几本是围绕marshmallow test的一些研究 到后面就都是稍微扩展点儿的 关于自控力和心理学的研究 在最后总结了一些自控力的principle (当然是理论性的 不是那种生活小妙招..)最后的结论 这位大爷既不是naturist 也不是nurturist 一方面说是两个共同作用的结果 另一方面说人自己才是改变的核心。有些许有趣的实验结果 也有一部分感觉像是在设计实验证明鸡汤 反正值得看 但并不是特别mindblowing的感觉 可能是大爷的写作方式的问题吧
评分这算的上是第一本完完全全读完的英语原作,之后再写一篇读书笔记吧
