“自然”是卢梭政治哲学的基础。然而，不论是在《论不平等》还是在《爱弥儿》中，卢梭阐释自然这一概念时，他都把剥去“社会性”的因素剩下的部分称之为“自然”，这使得“自然”这个概念不甚明了。自然状态是卢梭的一种设想，并非历史时期。《论不平等》卢梭给我们展示了他对于自然状态及自然人的构想，在《爱弥儿》他试图提供一种教育，使得人即使生活在社会中也能够尽可能地接近“自然”，像自然人一样生活。自然与社会的冲突是卢梭政治哲学的出发点。

Emile find Sophie,what brings them together is their difference. Emile has to idealize Sophie,should not possess her right now. It is man's weakness which makes him sociable.It is our common miseries which turn our hearts to humanity. Pity is sweet.

论科学与艺术，论不平等起源，社会契约论，忏悔录，爱弥尔...至此读完卢梭主要作品。个人感觉最棒的还是论不平等，雄辩有力，充满洞见。至于大部头，总觉得写得太拖沓，水分太多。
