评分Though Rouse's plain translating style makes this pocketbook suitable to read roughly, still some errors exist. Taking The Republic to say, "suppose we should imagine we see a city in the making"(Rouse, 2008), partly deviates from Plato, comparing to"If we should watch a city coming into being in speech"(Bloom,1991), not to mention others.
评分好难读，读了1/4没读完，说理太抽象。柏拉图好像在做数学的演绎，或者说，在做中学书上类似的，由公理导出定理，以至整个几何体系。但这种说理的模式，正如刘未鹏所说，让我很难学习。你知道可以这么去证明，这么去说明，但你不知道怎么把证明过程想出来。我觉得，这本书可能比较适合有一定基础的人来看。
