评分如果排去racist, sexist的部分，还是可以读的....但是这样的书读来干什么呢？
评分虽然里面几乎所有观点都不新鲜，但能把小说读得和诗歌一样细致，并且总体而言评说中肯，一点也不玄奥神秘，可算是没有把艺术偷偷变成哲学，而是把它认真地当手工制品，一点一点地分析一部小说是怎么技术性地搭建起来的。这次下定决心没有读译本而是直接读原文，感觉相当不同：反倒是英语我能看得更仔细，更细心跟着作者体会例文的妙处，但如果读中文却可能会草草略过，觉得“毫不惊艳”。我的猜想是我中文水平很差，需要多补习文言与现代诗，或者就是现在的中文本身已经被糟蹋得失去了精细感（至少现代汉语词汇的等级制感觉真是莫名混乱，而英语里还保留高中低几个层次，看到奥斯汀用一个“denominate”便嘲讽意味全出，却怎么也想不出“小人用大词”的那种中文翻译，顿感差距）....不提了，还是应该好好学习怎么说优美的中国话（
