评分四星半。很细致的论证梳理和讨论,有很多非常有启发性的观察,Annas的工作很细致,勾勒了进一步论证可能的方向、潜力。但是并不完全认同Annas的方法论,在第三章用后果主义和义务论讨论理想国就有些奇怪,苏格拉底完全没有“义务”的概念,甚至没有近似的内容。结果Annas读出一个Kantian的苏格拉底就是很合逻辑的事情。读柏拉图,澄清论证是起点而不是终点。
