Bill Martin has been devoted to writing children's books for more than thirty years. He has a Ph.D. in early childhood education and he has long been a proponent of using rhyme and rhythm to teach young children how to read. Eric Carle, illustrator of many beloved children's books, was born in the United States, but spent his early years in Stuttgart, Germany, where he studied art and design at the Academy of Applied Art. "Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What Do You See?" was the first book he illustrated.

評分略微有些不理解，但这本书真的是他从一岁以后到现在的挚爱，中间每一个动物都如数家珍，随便念到一个就能模仿声音，最可爱的是有时候夜醒哭泣哄不住的时候，我会问他green frog是什么，他就用哭腔说Gua, 多问两个动物他就忘了哭泣了，简直神奇！基本哄睡哄吃哄坐汽车座椅都可以...
