听精简浓缩版的 北方海域，人性的泯灭吗，像听小故事一样，听得有点别扭的一点点怕（书读的少，不知道怎么形容）这原版英文书对我来说还是强度太高，不然也真的想读原版呢。
评分文字生猛又冷峻，充滿戳刺感官的細節血肉。嚴酷蒼茫的北極海域如舞台，接連上演捕鯨血戰、殘忍命案與船難求生，無論對自然還是對同類，都在試探著文明缺席時獸性袒露的幅度。人性之惡被赤裸呈現而不加解釋，作者大概信奉性惡論。男主角在愛斯基摩女人對他開口說英文時，大為驚怒，叫她走開。
评分3.5* as what Drax said, what he killed the man is unrelated to righteousness or wrongfulness. It only concerns about the problem of wiliness or power, instead of the ethic evaluation, coz those who judge him in London, merely judge him by theirs power and wiliness as well.我们可以从两个维度观察人的行为：意志和能力。道德评价的前提是能为——如此，便能发现：道德是与意欲相搏。一个人能杀人，而不杀，抑或能不救而驰援，配得评价。
