What's the goal? What are the trade-offs you're willing to make? Essential questions for every terminally ill person. Respect and a hard conversation can spare one and the ones around a lot of suffering. This could be a policy-changing book.
评分At first a random read (picked up from some booklist). Then I thought of my grandpa, and it's like I should prepare my family for what's to come. It's bitter but at the end of the grief it's peace and relief.

评分近年來讀過最好的一本書
评分中間有點沉悶，一半以後又精彩瞭。臨終關懷是一個很重要卻很被忽略的課題。其實死亡可以不那麼可怕。
