凌晨時分讀完，意猶未盡。似夢似真，冥減之間混沌初生；囈語低吟，彌留之際幻象叢生。詩意的語言充滿音樂抽象的韻律和調性，由天才的肆意之筆在鬼使神差中寫就。

可惜我的德语水平不够没法儿直接读德语原文，不过英文长句的意象也已经足够排山倒海气势恢宏了。看到象牙的高脚杯变成了棕色牛角的那一刻有种浑身战栗的感觉，本科毕业论文时候抱着埃涅阿斯纪啃的记忆瞬间回潮

维吉尔和现象学的对话，神秘学和意识流的联姻，或可作奥斯维辛后的诗用问题的一卷具有象征意义的生成史来再细读。也许是德文中自带的凝重风格不完整地进入英文的结果，英译读来竟真有奥古斯都的整个船队在海上颠簸的感觉。从想读、荐购到最终读毕，从图书馆相关书目零落到目睹Broch传记中译出版，堪堪亦是两载光阴了，而“重睹星光”仍是caravanserai隐喻的那种向往。
