Alice Ann Munro, née Laidlaw, is a Canadian short-story writer who is widely considered one of the world's premier fiction writers. Munro is a three-time winner of Canada's Governor General's Award for fiction. Her stories focus on human relationships looked at through the lens of daily life. She has thus been referred to as "the Canadian Chekhov."
She is the winner of the 2013 Nobel Prize in Literature.

One of the best short stories I've ever read. Alice Munro perfectly show you how to translate a reader's-digest-style story into mysterious, subtle and captivating masterpiece. All the characters are so real that you could walk into their tragic lives-those who are enduring "the progress of love" . Personally I love the "Juliet trilogy" best.
评分最喜欢Trespasses那篇。风格太淡，不符合我的口味。
评分第一个故事结尾在carla的猜疑，最后一个故事结尾是nancy的梦幻，如疑似幻，整个集子都套上了一种朦胧意境，令人惆怅低徊不已。
