这两天又一口气读完...真不错.到了最后似乎有点顺势了,不过还是很耐读. 十个暗自相连的短篇,一节对于爱的想象和评说.巴恩斯从对挪亚方舟的嘲弄开始，讲述了十个人的历史断片。正如巴恩斯所坚持的，他并不是在用什么后现代的方法写作，他只是仿照古老的圣经来讲述一些事情。

对于历史的叙述，我们总是持有复杂的心态。信任之，这其中必定藏有许多精心的谬误与刻意的误导；否定它吧，那我们又该相信什么呢？或许，潜入历史的幽微之处，以隐喻的方式拼贴出自己的历史文本，是与常规叙述达成的一个互文的默契。英国作家朱利安•巴恩斯显然也是于历史...  

非常有趣的书，越往后读越让人投入。看似后现代作品写法，是的，但是主题思想仍旧是现代主义中的一员。作者有着非常深刻的人生感受，并不是草草读过此书能够完全总结和概括的——然而，虚构作品的魅力也在这里。太多复杂的思想和情绪，远非我们在当下能轻易求得什么结论，或用...  

巴恩斯的文筆幾乎無處不透著他的聰明，反而讓偶爾流露的憐憫更動人。

第一次讀Julian Barnes的作品。作傢腦洞真大，也真機智！最喜歡的一篇是Three Simple Stories，黑色幽默顯露無疑。
