赶在明天听Kleinman的讲座之前看完了这本。“divided self”这个概念有点意思！整本书感觉有点散，像是他学生的论文合集。最后一章里说divided self比较有启发，Arthur Kleinman对中国也算是“动情的观察者”了！

应该改名“wide China”，在广度上照顾到了很多现实问题，不同的作者也提供了不同的理论角度，但是整体上统合得不太好。而篇幅所限，每一个作者都没法真正把自己的理论框架和研究讲清楚。Kleinman对中国的角度有点太insider和太乐观了=。=最后吐个槽：吴飞真是喜欢讲一大堆清楚的内容之后“跳跃”到一个惊世骇俗的结论啊。。。

没有很多惊喜，感觉很多内容都是一些公知讲过的话，报纸上常看到，对中国面临的各种矛盾和问题概括得非常全面，但是不是太全面，而失了具体详细的理论论述和解决办法，作为一本人类学作品，有点小失望

抓得很准且很聪明，和类似的关于“新”中国的edited volumn高下立见。感同身受。但内里参差，就不吐槽了。
