一定要讀英文的呀！作者單音節詞用得妙！
评分既非編年體，亦非紀傳體，與之前看的文學史讀物在編排上有很大不同。從兒童文學談起，依次探討瞭文學的定義、起源、及發展階段等；然後挑選重要人物分述瞭詩歌、戲劇、小說三部分；最後探討瞭何謂ENGLISH literature。條理清晰，其中觀點還是很具可讀性的，人物作品都信手拈來；但並非文學史，主次太過分明，不少大佬也不過寥寥幾筆帶過，比較適閤對英國文學有過一定瞭解後做深化閱讀。
