喜歡 Poetics 的讀者還喜歡

我讀的是Cambridge Potts的版本, 一些關鍵詞匯在翻譯中沒有給予足夠的強調和體現; Abrams 在 Mirror and Lamp 裏麵引用的這個版本, 值得看一下~

與其說是關於詩，不如說是關於廣義的文藝創作。模仿對象是具有普遍性的人生之概然與必然，一切均為此目的服務。

可以在本书中看到当代西方很多理论的源头：1、悲剧的定义：目前看来亚理斯多德对于悲剧的定义沿用至今：对一个严肃、完整、有一定长度的行动的摹仿，它的媒介是经过装饰的语言，以不同的形式分别被用于剧的不同部分，他的摹仿方式是借助人物的行动，而不是叙述，通过引发怜悯和...  

最近两天阅读亚里士多德的《诗学》，比较了陈中梅的中译本与一个英译本（Micheal Davis: Aristotle on Poetics, St. Augustine’s Press, 2002），发现两者对《诗学》的解释有非常明显的区别：陈中梅强调《诗学》是关于写诗的一本“实用手册”，其中的内容都是对于“诗歌”写作...  

读一本书能收获多少在于之前储备了多少，《诗学》读完有醍醐灌顶的感觉，好像梳理清了许多有些疑惑还抓不到的东西，读得时候莫名有种熟悉的感觉，总觉得有些观点一直存在于自己的脑海之中但是表达不出来，可能这就是所谓的理论基础吧。 亚里士多德的很多观点在当时都具有开创性...
