The fact that you could draw so many parallels between you and a great thinker of our times, that he once shared the same doubt, fear and anxiety as you do, that he eventually went through them all, is a great comfort.

如果說讀楊絳的書有種像聽老奶奶嘮傢常般的親切與順暢，那麼讀亞隆的這本封筆之作就像是在正襟危坐認真聆聽老爺爺傳遞他一生的精彩片段與人生感悟。種種細節，好比指尖細紋，人世間處處可見，卻也處處難言。而能如此坦誠地一一道齣，共鳴與治愈功效太難得。

He's an honest man without doubt. By revealing the details of life, a memoir, one can now say that he's becoming the person he was meant to be. The book title is definitely thought provoking.

很詳細的自傳，又幫我mark瞭很多書，雖然一度覺得亞隆寫小說有點遜色，除瞭當尼采在哭泣，所有他寫的小說我全看瞭。整本書看得我經常哽咽和傻笑，感覺離這位老爺爺又近瞭一點，又遠瞭一點，如此成功優秀幸運的人有可能真正理解被世界遺棄的loser們的感受嗎
