Some good points, but many argument made just for the sake of making arguments. The most interesting part comes for how dehumanization works (you need to humanize before dehumanize). And yes I need to read more philosophy.

作者重要的觀點無非就是兩點，第一，共情很biased，第二，共情並不會leads to any good like compassion or kindness，有些情況下，甚至是有害的。而且不共情和反社會也沒什麼關係。批判的路子選得還是可以，但總覺得觀點在前四個單元已經論證得差不多瞭，後麵有些畫蛇添足。

簡單概括一下就是“慈悲多禍害”，不用腦子，隻靠感情指導解決問題是個壞點子。鬆散的論證，可以看，但彆期待學到太多什麼。真的很囉嗦，完全可以把內容砍掉一半。讀完後猛然發現這個作者不是研究兒童宗教傾嚮的那個Bloom麼，我寫論文還引過他的文章...

標題是用來博眼球的，作者反對的不是“共情”，而是過度的偏狹的短視的非理性的共情，以及把共情當成絕對的善，實際上探討的還是比較古舊的道德考量中“情”與“理”、“心”與“腦”的關係問題。共情往往讓我們隻關注此時此地的部分人，忽略更大時空範圍內更多數的人。在這個意義上，對一部分人“共情”即意味著對另一部分人“無情”，它有可能導緻偏狹和仇恨，引發狂熱的民族主義和極端的種族主義，掀起糾紛和戰爭。但是，在我們當今世界，主要的問題似乎還是共情不夠，而非共情泛濫。把認知共情和情緒共情二元對立很成問題。
