Irvin D. Yalom is an emeritus professor of psychiatry at Stanford University and a psychiatrist in private practice in San Francisco. He is the author of many books, including Love’s Executioner, Theory and Practice in Group Psychotherapy, and When Nietzsche Wept.

非常推薦：作者是個非常有名Stanford的心理醫生，有很多作品。這本書裏麵有十個故事，主要講的就是如何處理對死亡的恐懼，裏麵充滿瞭作者的智慧，以及有很詳細的他幫助開解病人的方法。最喜歡的故事就是"you must give up the hope for a better past."

读亚隆的书是从《爱情刽子手》开始，而后一发不可收拾。读到后来，某些书已经没有中译本，抑或是中译本不好找。只好不再躲懒，找了英文原版来读。亚隆的原版书通俗易懂，没有太多生僻字或专业词汇，读起来也容易。虽然这么说，还是要比看中文版慢了很多，再加上其他事情，断断...
