总算敢标读过了。80年代初的会议论文集，社会文化史研究的标志性转向，preface和两篇introduction都很有启发。影响力最大的文章无疑是Watson的神明的标准化，引发了之后Modern China华琛专号以及历史人类学学刊的一系列回应文章，将地方信仰与王朝意识形态之间的互动的研究推进到非常深入的水平。整本论文集围绕着中国文化的分异和统一，也成为后续研究的基本框架。
