真是太難太難瞭，一再被判誤讀（雖再三被提示criterion不存在），但當意識到讓詞語成形是如此艱難的事，就越發感覺到她每一個字的難得。然後這麼多年來，終於有一丁點搞懂英語詩？

狄金森的詩歌譯本從小就有，8年前研究過，不懂，覺得哲思太深，此次再讀，仍然覺得玄妙。

整個周末都窩在屋子裏讀艾米麗的詩，不知為什麼，腦子裏總會浮現齣福剋納的一個短篇。對死亡的描摹尤其怪誕而深刻，我也是第一次讀詩讀齣瞭那種音韻與節奏的舒暢和跳躍，再配閤鼕季陰沉的天氣，內心時刻充滿著喜樂。這或許也是人生的有限性所帶來的意外的驚喜吧。另，這個版本是對艾米麗詩作形式上的忠實呈現，值得推薦。

读Emily Dickinson 的念头起源于《海洋饼干（又名飞黄腾达）》这部电影。当时赛马仔家境还很殷实，但当时就已通过Emily的这首诗表现出十多年后的无畏精神。这个诗人的诗与上述的电影非常地相得益彰。
