非常特彆的一本詩小說，現代味很濃的故事題材，卻賦以古希臘神話的原型投射，讓閱讀仿佛變成一種在敘事之曆史長河裏的徜徉。

Haven't read anything like this before. You can finish it in an afternoon in a bookstore. But you'll want to buy it after all so that you can take it home and stash it on your nightstand and relish it when you feel like it.

在讀，進度很慢。天殺的，我為什麼要買這本書。讀不懂的書考驗歧義容忍度。過瞭很久這本書纔開始有點意思。這是酒不醉人，過瞭好多天，纔放倒。裏麵的人怎麼可以這麼可愛呢。可愛又殘忍。

也許Anne Carson的作品都帶有斷片的本質，詩性的斷片。這是一位圖書管理員嚮我推薦的，他至愛的書之一。我想像他就是個Geryon.
