作者简介
Born in Algeria in 1913, Albert Camus published The Stranger—now one of the most widely read novels of this century—in 1942. Celebrated in intellectual circles, Camus was awarded the Nobel Prize for Literature in 1957. On January 4, 1960, he was killed in a car accident.

在本书中读到《卡拉马佐夫兄弟》的结尾时几欲落泪。death is the reply to absurdity and the assertion of freedom. 那场众人的希望同命运的伟大搏斗之后我本已不屑于寻求和解。另外加缪的散文文笔真是令人无比舒畅啊=v=比Heiterkeit更温润缓和，全无暴雨之前的阴郁感。真治愈。这帮可爱的存在主义文青们，啧啧啧。
