爱玛•多诺霍（Emma Donoghue）,1969年10月出生于都柏林，父亲是文学评论家。少年时光大多在都柏林的一家天主教女子修道院学校度过，唯有十岁时在纽约的一年生活异常精彩。1990年获得都柏林大学学院英语以及法语一等荣誉学位（最高等级），但却拙于开口说法语。随后 移居英格兰，在剑桥获得博士学位（论18世纪虚构作品中的男女友谊）。23岁时写作为生，自从做了一个月的旅店服务员而被解雇后，便以不曾拥有一份靠谱工作而深觉幸运。此后经年往来于英国、爱尔兰以及加拿大，1998年定居于加拿大安大略省的伦敦市，如今与伴侣Chris Roulston以及幼子Finn (7岁)、幼女Una (3岁)居住在一起。

评分读的时候心态不好吧
评分在Jack和Ma的12ft*12ft的room里，记录了Ma的最美好的7年青春，以及Jack宝贵的5年童真。在room里，一切苦难都因母子之爱而化为乌有。
评分读过反倒觉得语法变差了呵呵后。。
