Berlin 1942

When Bruno returns home from school one day, he discovers that his belongings are being packed in crates. His father has received a promotion and the family must move from their home to a new house far far away, where there is no one to play with and nothing to do. A tall fence running alongside stretches as far as the eye can see and cuts him off from the strange people he can see in the distance.

But Bruno longs to be an explorer and decides that there must be more to this desolate new place than meets the eye. 真正意义上读过的第一本英文原著，学校安排的。原先看过电影，后来才发现学校安排了书，情节和电影差不多，只是结尾不一样，书里结尾父亲是很麻木的，更凸显纳粹对人的洗脑。这本书字比较大，难度还行，看书的确能增长词汇量
