Berlin 1942
When Bruno returns home from school one day, he discovers that his belongings are being packed in crates. His father has received a promotion and the family must move from their home to a new house far far away, where there is no one to play with and nothing to do. A tall fence running alongside stretches as far as the eye can see and cuts him off from the strange people he can see in the distance.
But Bruno longs to be an explorer and decides that there must be more to this desolate new place than meets the eye. While exploring his new environment, he meets another boy whose life and circumstances are very different to his own, and their meeting results in a friendship that has devastating consequences.

评分只是结局出人意料而已。
评分每个人都应该在小时候读的书
评分第一遍看电影在高一时候最不喜欢的tok课上，那时候不懂历史二战，不懂人间疾苦，做到了完全和bruno一样的视角，什么都不知道，不好。第二遍在大一焦虑症时候看，苦难体会的太淋漓尽致，太过感性，这也对号入座，觉得自己就像活在集中营一样无助觖望，太矫情，不好。现在，以欢愉的理智，缓慢的读完全书，发生这是一本及其克制压抑的书，书中太多内容电影中没表现出来。父亲和gretel对家人的深情，母亲的物欲和虚伪，爷爷和奶奶两种人对一种事的态度反差。非常精彩，最简朴的话，最深刻的表达。非常之喜欢，避免历史悲剧的最好方法就是多个维度细细琢磨一个历史事件。这两年读的第二本英文原版，给自己加油。五星好评，妥妥的。
评分整本书删掉五分之四大概会好得多，完全就是一个短篇的体量啊
