馬歇爾·麥剋盧漢（Marshall McLuhan，1911-1980）是加拿大文學批評傢、傳播學傢、傳播學媒介環境學派一代宗師，被譽為20世紀的“思想傢”“先知”“聖人”。以“地球村”“媒介是人的延伸”“媒介即訊息”等論斷名震全球。
“麥剋盧漢學”已然成為世界範圍的顯學。隨著2011年世界各地麥剋盧漢百年誕辰紀念活動的展開，第三次麥剋盧漢熱已經形成。他的思想跨越國界，跨越學術邊界，已經並將繼續産生深遠的影響。
麥剋盧漢的代錶作有《機器新娘：工業人的民俗》《理解媒介：論人的延伸》《榖登堡星漢璀璨：印刷文明的誕生》《媒介定律：新科學》等。

英文看得頭疼。因為語言問題，有些段落沒看明白，考慮再看一下中文版。倒不是對觀點有興趣，是對一個鬼馬學者的腦洞感興趣。

评分三個小時能讀完的書 我拖瞭三個禮拜 總算一月好歹讀瞭一本書！很多單詞錯誤...圖文的平麵設計挺有看頭 這本1967年 ways of seeing 1972年 mechanical reproduction 1936年 有意思 感覺整本書可以是design student的畢設 但我也不能說學術就非得一闆一眼 總之是值得一看的小書 但我覺得前半部比後半部寫得緊湊精準些？還引用瞭老子...外國好像引入瞭很多老子孫子這種東西喔Grant也喜歡
评分為啥我覺得巨艱澀……
