Ian McEwan has written two collections of short stories and ten novels, including the award winning Saturday. He won the 1998 Booker Prize for his novel Amsterdam. He has also written several film scripts.

世俗三角戀+贖罪情結=暢銷書get. 我不能接受的是Briony在她的想象中站在Robbie麵前，錶現齣的卻近乎麻木不仁，對於主題而言交待得也太草率。某位華人作傢說得對，我年輕時雖然那樣寫，但迴過頭纔發現寫得太淺太淺瞭，真實生活不是這樣的。
