所謂從一個社會行為主義者的視角來談，就看如何把gesture這個概念打通，讓它操作化。心靈、自我與社會，隻是拆解這個操作化過程的階段和不同側麵。剝離掉錶徵意涵，gesture就變成瞭社會交往的一種“未完成”，成為關係綫索凝聚的單元。睏難與要害所在，是怎樣藉助這個單元將intelligence從語言本身的錶意結構投射到社會安排中，把社會本身變成一個知性的function運作的空間。

沒有愛恨的他者，就沒有棱角分明的自我。當然樂觀的芝加哥隻看重共同體的愛，而無視巴彆塔的恨，更不會去談超越愛恨背後的social control。

这是我读的第一本有关符号相互作用论的书，现在只读了第一篇，因为这本书本身就是由课堂笔记和米德的手稿构成，不是米德自己对自己观点的一种系统化的组织和阐述，所以读起来着实很费力，有的地方可能有其自身的逻辑，但在我读起来就好像是想到哪里说到哪里，为了尽量克服语言...
