好會寫！一天裏看盡瞭一個人的一生/難得看到男性視角的麥剋尤恩，也很感人/我多麼希望在青春期時有個那樣的爺爺給我那麼多錢讓我背英國詩，就像張無忌偶遇高人當上武林盟主/還以為醫生會做手腳報復那個強盜，沒想到是這樣的結尾，作傢的美好幻想，惡人會被真善美（此處是詩）打動，放下屠刀立地成佛/最喜歡他和妻子之間的感覺，一點也不像現實中的苟且夫妻，很美好/作為中年危機裏的中年男人，這個主角十分惹人喜愛

8.11-18| brilliant account of the squash match got me interested enough to try it out home evasion scene extremely devastating why is it so hard to stay detached and objective when it comes to politics really love this one-day format focused and telling

尚可，但主題先行，劇情及人物設置頗為刻意，隻是文筆流暢優美纔能讓人接著讀下去，總而言之讀完略有空洞的感覺。

Listened to the audiobook read by James Wilby. Very good narrator. His Daisy, Rosalind, and cockney Baxter made me chuckle though. Liked the details on literature, poetry, Blues and Glenn Gould. Found the theme and subject overall uninspiring. Nothing we haven't thought of before. I'm so tired of the perspective of a middle class white male...
