评分比较传统的马克思主义史学的力作。我觉得所有民法甚至法学专业的人都应该读他,中文翻译非常一般,没校对出的错误也不少,虽没差到无法读的地步。霍爷有力的证明了美国法是如何被重塑以服务与新兴的资本主义,法官通过对私法重塑将成本分配给了社会上沉默的弱势,对动了新型资本主义的发展。
