我觉得罗素的这本《西方哲学史》，如果去掉所有的“废话”，完全可以厚度减半。这种“废话”不是车轱辘话来回说的普通废话，而是每句话里都有一点点（不重要的）信息量的“高级废话”。它们看上去很重要，但如果你把它们删掉，不仅不会影响全文，还会提高阅读体验。我也算混...

我们都读过商务印书馆的上下2册的汉译本。但我意外的获得这本书的纽约初版的英文精装本，单册，1945年版。自然久，九成新，但硬皮和纸张质量非常好，非国内书籍能比，保守的说，至少还可以使用100年。如果有钟意此书的书友，可以接洽
