评分還是以迴憶為主，Ono是老去的畫傢，他一生的追求與成就隨著浮世繁華落幕而變得脆弱不堪，他敏感多思，在嫁女和與舊友重逢的現實中反復追憶、反思，結論是什麼？Ono不知道，讀者不知道，也許永遠不會有人知道。我喜歡這本書的結尾，殘留溫情和寄托希望的氣息：Our nation, it seems, whatever mistakes it may have made in the past, has now another chance to make a better go of things. One can only wish these young people well.
