著者簡介
保羅•奧斯特Paul Auster
1947年齣生於新澤西州的紐瓦剋市，集小說傢、詩人、劇作傢、譯者、電影導演等多重身份於一身，被視為美國當代最勇於創新的小說傢之一。
主要作品有小說《紐約三部麯》《幻影書》《在地圖結束的地方》《密室中的旅行》《日落公園》以及迴憶錄《孤獨及其所創造的》等。曾獲法國美第奇文學奬、美國約翰•剋林頓文學傑齣貢獻奬、西班牙阿斯圖裏亞斯王子文學奬，作品被翻譯成30種文字，他也是每年衝擊諾貝爾文學奬的有力人選之一。
編劇並導演的電影作品有《煙》《麵有憂色》和《橋上的露露》，其中《煙》在1996年獲得柏林電影節銀熊奬和最佳編劇奬。
目前定居於紐約的布魯剋林區。
