著者简介

保罗·奥斯特，一九四七年出生于美国新泽西州纽瓦克市一个犹太裔中产阶级家庭，毕业于哥伦比亚大学。他被视为美国当代最勇于创新的小说家之一。

保罗·奥斯特年轻时过着漂泊无定的生活，不断尝试各种工作。一九七〇年至一九七四年，他客居巴黎，靠翻译法国文学为生。

保罗·奥斯特的主要作品有小说《布鲁克林的荒唐事》、《纽约三部曲》、《幻影书》等。曾获法国美第奇最佳外国小说奖、西班牙阿斯图里亚斯王储文学奖，作品被翻译成三十多种文字。他编剧的电影《烟》于一九九六年获得柏林电影节银熊奖和最佳编剧奖。

保罗·奥斯特现定居纽约布鲁克林区。

Mr.Blank--Who he really is and what exactly has he done? What was his relationship with the man in the story? Why did he start the treatment? *Auster is no doubt a very good writer.

依旧是P.A风格的平行多重文本元小说。更像是对作家身份的自我救赎。auster说过作家是没有自己的生活的。正如文中的Mr.Blank，被囚禁在密室里，不断被不知名的角色打扰，莫名的戛然而止的手稿甚至密室本身都能指所指混乱失序。结尾tricky！

就知道是这种展开，后设玩多了略感山穷水尽，奥拉西奥·奥利维拉神马的高级多了。只是好一阵子不读老爷子怎么写起伪黄段子来了……说白了就是无解的土拨鼠之日…… 【11月6日，重读纽约三部曲，修正一下对这一本的评价。老爷子还真是喜欢模糊真实与虚构之间的边界啊。万能的Fanshawe。
