小說和書是著手點不同的女性主義：小說本身更像政治類型的推理小說，人物沒有劇中多元與復雜，mattie也不像劇中錶現的那麼有野心。結構上很有好萊塢風格，一套起承轉閤完整。文字細膩touchinh，看瞭書就不會再疑惑為什麼叫house of cards，全書把紙牌是博弈的一種象徵，在描寫角色齣招拆招時也多用齣牌的方式。劇比較殘忍，人性的多元，善的多元和惡的多元交錯的高潮迭起，某種程度上我覺得紙牌屋劇和絕命毒師有點像，沒有一個角色是正麵的，更不用說聖母，都是赤裸裸的剝開虛僞，剖視欲望
