至少在三个层面上好看且值得看：一、对古典与现当代哲学的着墨大致均衡，不偏不倚；二、展示了英语世界中认为值得书写的哲学家的思想脉络，并且脉络清晰；三、解释了哲学的发展，有利于理解为什么会有那么多无聊的博士论文选题。提两点不足，春秋笔法和政治正确还是挺显眼的；再就是有些解释过于简单。ps:这个夏天最好的阅读体验：read almost every page every line.

好读，深入浅出，把难懂的思想解释得易懂，把各家各学派的基本思想都整理了一遍。本书解释尼采写了比其他哲学家更多的页数，看来尼采也是小编的心头好吧。
