Olive Kitteridge might be described by some as a battle axe or as brilliantly pushy, by others as the kindest person they had ever met. 伊丽莎白·斯特劳特 (Elizabeth Strout)
美国当代作家。1956年出生于缅因州波特兰市，大学毕业后开始文学创作。1998年，出版长篇处女作《艾米与伊莎贝尔》，获《洛杉矶时报》最佳首作奖及《芝加哥论坛报》中心文学奖，并入选橘子奖短名单及笔会/福克纳奖，在文坛奠定了坚实的口碑。2006年出版《与我同在》，登上全美畅销榜，入选美国独立书商协会选书。
