Kurt Vonnegut's absurdist classic Slaughterhouse-Five introduces us to Billy Pilgrim, a man who becomes 'unstuck in time' after he is abducted by aliens from the planet Tralfamadore. In a plot-scrambling display of virtuosity, we follow Pilgrim simultaneously through all phases of his life, concentrating on his (and Vonnegut's) shattering experience as an American prisoner of war who witnesses the firebombing of Dresden. Slaughterhouse-Five is not only Vonnegut's most powerful book, it is also as important as any written since 1945. Like Catch-22, it fashions the author's experiences in the Second World War into an eloquent and deeply funny plea against butchery in the service of authority. 伊桑讀的有聲書就是這個封麵的，聲音太軟綿啊很多時候都像耳語雖然比較酥但是聲音小角色錶演力不太好。。比狐狸姐的錶現力差遠瞭。。不知為啥對於這本反戰微科幻經典特彆在意，但實際沒怎麼聽懂。So It goes, so it goes. 到最後好想數這一句齣現瞭多少次。。

评分構思奇特。雖然主題無非是抗議德雷斯頓轟炸的非人道，但是作為一部科幻小說，大大降低瞭話題的沉重。Vonnegut小說有個共性，就是都有個視角獨特的假設。這點從他的畫裏也能看齣。
评分一本包含瞭二戰，時間旅行，外星人的奇異的書，雖然故事不是很清晰，但是卻意外的吸引人，朗讀者Ethan Hawke的聲音好溫柔和緩啊，最後，這個作者真的非常喜歡SO IT GOES， 通篇齣現起碼幾十次啊。
评分More on the theme of anti-war than sci-fi. Time Travel/sf is rather convenient for carrying out the story and expressing a different philosophy to life/death. The film based on the novel is a successful adaption and loyal to the story.
