Tony Hsieh became involved with Zappos as an advisor and investor in 1999, about two months after the company was founded. He eventually joined Zappos full time in 2000. In 1999, Tony Hsieh (pronounced Shay) sold LinkExchange, the company he co-founded, to Microsoft for $265 million. He then joined Zappos as an adviser and investor, and eventually became CEO.
In 2009, Zappos was listed as one of Fortune magazine's top 25 companies to work for, and was acquired by Amazon later that year in a deal valued at over $1.2 billion on the day of closing.

评分前面讲故事看得挺好玩,只是感觉他写书的时候还太年轻,包括他早期没有清晰的目标,只是追着钱跑,但是大多数人都如此。由此而来的他个人思考和转变还是挺值得看。后半部分加入企业文化就看得我经常想跳过了,虽然有些员工的故事挺好玩,但是写作风格不一样,与整体有断裂感。
