Logic for Philosophy covers basic approaches to logic (including proof theory and especially model theory); extensions of standard logic that are important in philosophy; and some elementary philosophy of logic. Easily accessible to students without extensive mathematics backgrounds, this lucid and vividly written text emphasizes breadth of coverage rather than depth. Featuring numerous exercises, answers, and helpful hints, it concisely and effectively introduces students to the logic they need to know in order to read contemporary philosophy journal articles.
Theodore Sider is Professor of Philosophy at New York University

我們的邏輯教材當年用這個就好瞭……
评分p32腳注“Strictly···iii)”根據段首“Why the greek letters in clause ii)?”及段意或應為“ii)” p78“4. ψ 2,3,MP”根據前2,3及“As for the second”(〜(φ→ψ)├〜ψ)或應為“〜ψ” p211“~□Φ→⋄~Φ,i.e.~□Φ→⋄~Φ”根據下文後半重復的應為“~□Φ→~□~~Φ”
评分Kind of dull, I didn't get the sense of vibrant engagement with the subject matter that Sider usually provides. Perhaps I've just been reading too much about logic these days.

评分低配版看完,很多證明自己來還是不會,以後遇到相關的問題還是得迴來再看,非經典邏輯的章節很有啓發性啊
