In the midst of spiraling ecological devastation, multispecies feminist theorist Donna J. Haraway offers provocative new ways to reconfigure our relations to the earth and all its inhabitants. She eschews referring to our current epoch as the Anthropocene, preferring to conceptualize it as what she calls the Chthulucene, as it more aptly and fully describes our epoch as one in which the human and nonhuman are inextricably linked in tentacular practices. The Chthulucene, Haraway explains, requires sym-poiesis, or making-with, rather than auto-poiesis, or self-making. Learning to stay with the trouble of living and dying together on a damaged earth will prove more conducive to the kind of thinking that would provide the means to building more livable futures. Theoretically and methodologically driven by the signifier SF—string figures, science fact, science fiction, speculative feminism, speculative fabulation, so far—Staying with the Trouble further cements Haraway's reputation as one of the most daring and original thinkers of our time.

评分从D&G那里拿来了kin，infection，involution（关键是根本没提他们）；然后结合Lovecraft的克苏鲁；再进而讲了一大堆动物世界的故事...好看了都在其他地方登过了，剩下算不上怪物纪宣言，还是赛博格那本书有意思，这本书有点扯了。不是以inspiring思考和论证来宣言，尽是些有的没的生物学奇怪的名词...其次D&G所言的生成-动物肯定不是让人来理解动物主义啊...这么抬起狗、蜘蛛、蝴蝶、乌贼...那就算是从边缘生成-少数？将人解构成humus，再说成compost没问题，但以动物主义为中心进入到多物种主义，似乎很容易让人忘掉了那个with的生成主体性。
