自認為是體育迷，我一直以為阿迪達斯比耐剋更牛一些，可能因為小時候是足球迷，三葉草在足球領域太強勢瞭。認識NIKE是中學時代，一方麵是NBA，一方麵是美國霹靂舞文化，所以，我一直以為Nike是個文化品牌。這本書告訴我，Nike起傢時，就是貨真價值的專業體育運動裝備。截止書中的數據，大概2007年，Nike的銷售是160億美金，阿迪達斯是100億（用作者的原話，Who is counting？）

印象最深的還是 1971-1975的部分，一直有那麼多讓人為它的命懸一綫而屏息凝神的時刻。很多讓我想起我們當時在領導力計劃時看John Adams的感受——那些後來看起來意義重大的曆程，其實哪裏有那麼多肅穆齊整的時刻，都是踉踉蹌蹌、跌跌撞撞，在各種混亂與捉襟見肘中籌措應對（scramble），拖著腿走、滾、爬、往前行，然而就這樣堅持下來。

耐剋創始人迴憶錄，一群shoe dogs的堅持成就瞭今日的耐剋。耐剋前18年是跌宕起伏的18年，與鬼塚虎的恩恩怨怨，與銀行的博弈現金流的枯竭，甚至遇到政治阻力，精彩紛呈。1962年，奈特先生去日本Kobe(神戶)與鬼塚株式會社談判代理Tiger牌運動鞋事宜，後來科比和老虎都成為耐剋最具影響力的代言人，冥冥之中有天意

很慶幸在人生的這個階段讀到這本書。Phil常常提到來自童年時期以的insecurity, 以至於一次退休瞭的Phil和妻子在街上遇到瞭比爾蓋茨和巴菲特，假裝拉傢常的時候心裏還在想著自己的身傢跟這兩位比低瞭好多倍，心裏有點被intimidated到。同樣insecure的我讀到這裏會心一笑，緊接著又是一聲嘆息：“誒原來這缺乏安全感的毛病真是要伴隨終身瞭啊！”但願我能像Phill一樣，藉著這因為缺乏安全感而永遠unsettling的心，一直追隨所謂的calling。Don't stop.

这是我看的第二本名人的传记类的书吧？第一本是乔布斯传。我还记得看完乔布斯传的时候，我整个人内心是沸腾的。我好喜欢这个古怪而又讨人厌的男人。看完这本《鞋狗》，我感觉我看到的是一个生活中的商人，因为对运动的热爱，而又因为无法成为专业的运动员，选择了做运动产品...
