我书柜里top1的外国小说，可知道的人真的太少了。

两个小时读下来，感到非常地沉重。伊迪丝·华顿的世界落入我的心底化成了一个关于贫穷与自由的故事。弗洛美是一个受到过文学启蒙的农民，但是他却永远逃离不了他命运的枷锁，他无法令成为一个自由的人，因为他很穷。这个故事很悲伤，真实地感人落泪。

华顿的故事为什么都这么苦。。。。。

磕磕绊绊总算把此书读了一遍。 书前言中有一段叙述：美国心理派女作家伊迪丝华顿伊特有的细腻和力量，在她最富盛名的《以坦弗洛美》写出了当初美国从农业国转向工业国的物质问题和道德问题。从这一方面来说此部小说与路遥的《人生》有些相似。 我刚翻开书就有莫名其妙的感...
