Even the deep, burning eyes seemed set amongst the swollen flesh, for the lids and pouches underneath were bloated. It seemed as if the whole awful creature were simply gorged with blood; he lay like a filthy leech, exhausted with his repletion.' 评分關於吸血鬼的傳說我從98年開始接觸，Dracula是吸血鬼文學的起源，當時是因為《薔薇的婚禮》這部電影去研究的，讀完以後感覺並沒有傳說中的那麼可怕，倒是很感興趣那種屬於故事背景的哥特氛圍，之前我也說過，我是一個哥特人，並且不介意承認我有吸血行為，但隻吸自己的，是一種enjoy.也希望在神秘學的背後去尋找我失落已久的精神起源。
评分第一次讀關於吸血鬼的書。但是第一章竟然就被吸引住瞭，伏筆雖然不是太多但是環環相扣。
