Graham Swift is the author of eight novels, including Waterland, which won the Guardian Fiction Award, Last Orders, winner of the 1996 Booker Prize and 1998 IMPAC Dublin Literary Award, subsequently made into a successful film, Light of Day and Tomorrow.
